Alright viewers!!! It is time for the second part of this awesome walkthrough!! This time, I'm going to show you how to get through the Deku Tree!! So, if you can't see the video because of a crappy signal or computer, here are the manual instructions:
When you first enter the dungeon, climb up the first ladder you see on the left. Jump over 2 small gaps so that you reach the vines. Open the treasure chest nearby to obtain the map. Then, jump over another gap to find a door. When you come into this room, there will be a Deku Scrub. Defeat it by deflecting the projectiles it shoots with your Deku Shield. When it jumps out of it place and runs around, go up to him and eventually he will speak to you. After he's finished talking, he runs away, leaving a Recovery Heart behind. Go through the door and climb up the vines to find a treasure chest with the Fairy Slingshot. Equip the slingshot. Use it to shoot the ladder above the door so that it falls so that you can climb up it to exit the room. Next, travel back to the area with the vines and use the slingshot to kill all 3 Skulltulas on the vines. Climb up the vines and drop down on the ledge of the higher level. Walk on the path until you see a door. Open it. When you're inside, step on the switch to the right to activate the small pillars. Jump on the 2 that are straight from where you're standing. Open the large treasure chest to obtain a compass. Then, climb up the small vines and step on the switch again. This time, step on the first pillar but then step on the left one and get to the other platform. Kill the Gold Skulltula and get the token. The small treasure chest contains a Recovery Heart. Then, climb up the vines again and get out a Deku Stick. Light it on fire by putting it in the fire on the yellow pillar. Then, use it to put fire on the black pillar. The door's bars will disappear. Exit the room. Find one of the Wall Skulltulas (the huge ones) that is in a space. Kill it by hitting its back when it turns around, and jump down onto the web on the first floor. The web will break, and you will fall into water. Get onto the platform that has a door that is blocked by a web. From that platform, use the slingshot to kill a Gold Skulltula. Climb up the vines to get a hold of the token. Next, get to a place in the water where you can walk in it. Get onto the platform with a switch on it. Activate the switch, and fire will burn the web on that platform that is blocking a small tresure chest. Inside the chest is a Recovery Heart. From that platform, you can also kill another Gold Skulltula that is on some bars on the wall with the slingshot. Jump towards the token on the bars to get it. Then, get back on that platform and light a Deku Stick. Walk towards the other platform but be careful not to fall off of the place where you can walk in the water or the stick will lose its flame. Burn the web blocking the door with the stick and then put the stick away. Go through the door. A Deku Scrub will be in that room. Defeat it like you did previously, and then run up to it when it runs. It will tell you to defeat his brothers in the order 2, 3, 1. It runs away, leaving a Recovery Heart behind. Next, go through the door by shooting with the slingshot at the eye above it. Then, go into the water and hold down A above a switch that's under the water. The water will lower. Then, go back to the beginning platform and get onto the moving platform. When that one stops on the other side of the room, jump onto the other side. Kill the Wall Skulltula and move the box until you hear it click. Climb up the box and then onto the place with the door. Walk through the door. Then, you'll be in a room with a pillar with fire, and 2 pillars without fire. Get a Deku Stick and light both unlit pillars. Put the Deku Stick away. Go through the next door. Kill the Wall Skulltula and then burn 2 webs by lighting yet another Deku Stick and then touching each web with it. Put away the stick. One of the webs has an area that has a wall blocking it. That wall cannot be destroyed yet. So, leave that area be. The other one has a tunnel that you can crawl through. Crawl through the tunnel and then you'll be in a higher platform in a familiar room. Push the block forward until it falls and you hear a special ringing noise. Go to the platform with a pillar with fire on it and light a Deku Stick...........again. Climb back on the box and then towards the web on the ground while still holding the Deku Stick. Roll on the web to burn it and then put the stick away. Fall into the hole into more water. Go to a spot of land with a blocked door and 3 Deku Scrubs. Defeat the middle one, then the right one, then the left one. The left one will run, so chase after it. After it talks to you, it leaves yet another Recovery Heart behind and the door becomes unlocked. Go into the door and then the game will show something on the ceiling. Find it again with the C-Up button or shoot it with the slingshot. It will come down, and then the game will say that she is Gohma. She's the first boss. To kill her, throw down a Deku Nut so that she's stunned, then stab her eye. When she goes on the ceiling, eggs drop down. I suggest to destroy the eggs before the enemies hatch. Then, Gohma will drop down. Repeat the process until she's dead. Get the Heart Container and step in the blue portal to get out of the Deku Tree. When you are out, the Deku Tree gives you the Kokiri Emerald and then dies because of the curse.
