First, get to the downstairs part of your house and your mom will tell you to go to the house to the right. As you enter, the mom will notice you. She will say that her children are upstairs organizing their packs. Go upstairs and you will notice that there is no one there. Keep walking until…. Whoa! A 10 year-old girl runs out from behind a tree and a teenage boy runs out from behind a PC! It turns out they’ve organized their packs and they’re ready for battle until they realize you don’t have a pokemon. So, the 10 year-old girl gives you a Metapod she just happened to have caught for research and tells you that her name is Julie. Then, she remembered her father, Prof. Kent who would like to see you. So, go over there and for free, he gives you a pokemon of your choice! Now, you can battle Julie and her brother! After you beat them Julie is very impressed and wants to be your partner on your journey and her brother gets mad because you won. He tells you that his name is Alex and he wants to be you and Julie’s rival. So, he goes to the left house to find his 12 year-old friend, Nathan. Go there with Julie and you’ll go through some talking and you’ll become rivals. Then, Julie will tell you to go to Prof. Kent’s lab where he gives you a pokedex and running shoes. Then your journey truly begins.
